Derek L’Huillier is a financial advisor with more than 15 years of experience in the financial services industry, including banking, branch leadership, and wealth management. Based in the Holland/Grand Haven office, he works with a diverse range of clients to develop investing and financial planning strategies tailored to their unique situation.

With a strong commitment to service, Derek focuses on understanding each client’s financial picture, creating a thoughtful financial strategy, and implementing solutions designed to help them pursue their objectives. Before joining Wintrust Investments, he served as a financial advisor with Huntington Financial Advisors. His experience also includes leadership roles with Macatawa Bank and Huntington National Bank, where he built strong client relationships and helped clients pursue their long-term financial goals.

Derek earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in finance from Michigan State University. He holds FINRA Series 6, 7, 63, and 66 registrations, as well as Life and Health Insurance Licenses. Derek resides in Grand Haven, Michigan with his wife and two sons, and enjoys spending time outdoors with his family.
