Chad Creevy is a Senior Vice President & Client Portfolio Manager and has 24 years’ experience managing money for trust and fiduciary accounts including high net worth individuals, non-profits, institutions, and businesses. Chad joined Macatawa Bank in 2020 and led the asset management group for the bank’s entire wealth management department prior to be acquired by Wintrust Private Trust Company in 2024. He currently manages accounts and relationships across both Wintrust divisions: Great Lakes Advisors and Wintrust Private Trust Company.

With his knowledge, experience, and commitment to service, Chad knows how to navigate the complexity that can arise from markets, the global economy and one’s own personal or family situation. Investing is a marathon, not a sprint, and Chad helps educate and work through everyone’s unique situation alongside of them for the long-term. In the age of call centers and impersonal service representative models, Chad takes pride in being personally responsive and available. He was born and raised in West Michigan and has deep roots in the community. Prior to joining Macatawa Bank, he spent 20 years at firms including: Morgan Stanley, Hilliard Lyons, Fifth Third Bank, and Associated Bank. He has experience teaching business and economics courses as an adjunct professor at Davenport University and Grand Rapids Community College. 

Chad earned a BA double majoring in Business Administration & Economics from Alma College and an MBA in International Business from Cornerstone University. In 2024 he completed the three-year Stonier Graduate School of Banking program at the Wharton Business School at the University of Pennsylvania. Chad is active in the Holland/Zeeland community and serves in an elected position as the Secretary of the Board of Education at Zeeland Public Schools. He is married to his wife of 25 years, has three daughters, and resides in Zeeland, Michigan.
