Consultant - Retirement Plans
Emily Everett is a Retirement Plan Consultant who began working in the financial services industry in 2004. She joined the Retirement Plan Services group in March 2015 to help business owners and plan sponsors to be more cost-effective and compliant, while helping reduce the administrative burden that comes with managing a plan and satisfying fiduciary obligations. The group provides a wide range of services including plan design, investment selection, 3(21) fiduciary support, policy and procedure support, service provider selection, performance reporting, and ongoing employee education. Emily takes great pride in her role to educate and help prepare plan participants for retirement.
Prior to joining the firm, Emily spent seven years at TIAA-CREF where she specialized in retirement planning and employee education for 403(b) plans. She conducted educational efforts with both individuals and small-to-large groups on investment options, income planning, estate planning/wealth transfer, and comprehensive financial planning. Emily has experience working with a wide range of clients, including high-net-worth individuals and new entrants to the workplace.
Emily graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Economics and earned the designation of Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) from the Center for Fiduciary Studies. She holds FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 Licenses and Illinois Life and Health Insurance Licenses. Emily volunteers at Rainbow Hospice & Palliative Care.
