Thomas Buker is a Trust Officer with 25 years of experience providing trust and investment services to his clients in a variety of fiduciary capacities. He enjoys building long-term relationships with his clients and working with their attorneys and accountants to ensure all their estate planning needs and objectives are met. Tom joined Wintrust Wealth Management’s Trust team in 2012 through the acquisition of Suburban Bank & Trust’s Trust Department.

He administers personal trusts, agencies, guardianships, IRAs, and estates. Tom began his career in 1994 at Chicago City Bank & Trust working in operations and administration. He then joined Beverly Trust Company in 1997, which later became Suburban Bank & Trust.

Tom graduated from St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa with a BA in Business Administration and a minor in Economics. He has also completed Trust I, II, and III courses at the Cannon Trust School. Tom lives in Chicago’s Beverly neighborhood with his wife and two sons.
