Bert Getz joined Globe Corporation in 1991 and serves as Director and Co-Chief Executive Officer of the Corporation. He is also a Director and Officer of the Globe Trust Company and Globe Investment Company, where he serves as Chairman of the Investment Committee. 

Bert’s professional activities include serving as a Director of the IMS Companies LLC, Wintrust Investments, The Chicago Trust Company, Great Lakes Advisors, and Libertyville Bank and Trust. Bert is a member in the Chicago Chapter of Young Presidents’ Organization. His civic involvement includes serving as Director of the Globe Foundation and the National Historical Fire Foundation. Additionally, Bert is Vice-Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Chicago Zoological Society at Brookfield Zoo and a Trustee of the Lawrenceville School, in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. 

Bert holds a B.B.A. from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University and an MBA from the University of Michigan Business School.
