George Hovany joined the firm as a Financial Advisor at Vernon Hills Bank and Trust in 2008. He is focused on offering his clients the wealth management solutions they seek and has been providing advice to high net worth clients, business owners, and executives for over 28 years.  George’s philosophy is to understand his clients’ desires, educate them on planning strategies, and make them aware of the available options for reaching their financial goals. He believes trust, integrity, and service are the backbone of any professional relationship. Although a thorough understanding of numerous investment products and strategies is essential, George achieves client success by addressing specific needs and concerns.

Prior to joining the firm, George was responsible for the sales and marketing of brokerage services as a Vice President at Merrill Lynch, RBC Dain Rauscher, and Bank of America.

George grew up in the Rogers Park neighborhood of Chicago and attended St. George High School and Loyola University at Lake Shore. He holds FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 Licenses in addition to Life, Health, Variable Annuities, Casualty, and Fire Insurance Licenses. He has been married for 37 years to his wife, Patricia. They have three grown children who attended college at Northwestern University, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and University of Illinois Chicago. He currently resides in Lincolnshire, Illinois.
