Edmund J. Orr (E.J.) is a Regional Sales Manager for Wayne Hummer Investments. E.J. has more than 25 years experience in the investment industry and is responsible for managing Financial Advisor teams located in Wintrust community banks in the northern area of Illinois and southern Wisconsin

Before joining the firm, E.J. worked for Kemper Corporation and many of the entities that it became or was merged into, including: EVEREN Capital, Zurich Financial/Scudder, and Deutsche Asset Management. In his most recent role, E.J. was a Director responsible for the distribution of the Scudder Direct and AARP mutual funds which had more than $20 billion under management. E.J. also directed product development and marketing for the variable annuity division. During much of his career, E.J. worked with financial advisors to help expand their business and to learn best practices. In addition to sales management, E.J. aids advisors in expanding their insurance practice. He holds FINRA Series 7, 24, and 63 Licenses.

E.J. resides in Northbrook, Illinois with his wife and three children. He enjoys biking and running.
