At Wintrust Wealth Management, we provide a broad range of financial services to private clients and institutions. Founded in 1931, we are one of the oldest and most respected financial service providers based in the Midwest. Today, we proudly serve over 24,000 clients and are responsible for nearly $14 billion of their assets.
Our parent company, Wintrust Financial Corporation, is a diversified, publicly traded financial services holding company with more than 20 subsidiaries, including the Wintrust Wealth Management companies. Wintrust and the Wintrust community banks offer customers the best of both worlds-the product selection and technology of the big national banks, paired with the customer service, personal attention, and community focus that can only be provided by locally-managed, community banks.
Our private clients include business owners, working professionals, executives, and retirees. They value our services for the time it saves them, the opportunities that our expertise creates for them, and the peace of mind they have from knowing their financial picture is being handled by someone they can trust. Our institutional clients include public and corporate pension plans, Taft-Hartley plans, foundations, and endowments. We deliver our services through our three specialty groups: Investments, Asset Management, and Trust. Each group serves a specific purpose for our clients, while working in concert with one another and the Wintrust family of companies.
InvestmentsThe Financial Advisors of our investments group, Wayne Hummer Investments, bring to bear a broad knowledge base to provide brokerage, insurance, and investment planning services. They use a proprietary Comprehensive Financial Review™ to understand their clients’ financial picture and then work closely with them to develop a tailored plan to meet their individual goals.
The Portfolio Managers of Great Lakes Advisors, our asset management group, are specialists that create and manage U.S. equity and fixed income portfolios of typically $1 million or greater. They use sophisticated investment management tools to make asset allocation recommendations, select individual securities, and build custom tailored portfolios that are consistent with each client’s objectives and risk tolerance.
Our Trust Administrators of The Chicago Trust Company offer a full range of administrative and fiduciary trust services and serve as corporate trustee or successor trustee for many clients. They work in conjunction with attorneys, accountants, and financial professionals to create trust solutions to serve clients’ wealth preservation and transfer needs.
